While veteran quarterback Drew Brees takes pride in his performance on the field, he takes even more pride in his many community service endeavors. In 2003, Drew founded the Brees Dream Foundation, dedicated to advancing cancer research and providing education and services to underprivileged youth. Since its creation, the Brees Dream Foundation has committed more than $4,500,000 to charitable causes in the New Orleans, San Diego, and Purdue communities. His foundation executes a diverse array of programs, ranging from Bikes for Kids, to Cocktails for Katrina, to the Brees on the Tees Golf Pro-Am.
About Drew Brees
Drew Brees is the quarterback of the 2009 Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints and earned Super Bowl MVP honors. During his 9 year career, Brees has been named 2004 Comeback Player of the Year, 2008 Offensive Player of the Year, and he’s made 4 Pro Bowl appearances. Brees is a graduate of Purdue University and he and his wife Brittany have one son, named Baylen.
