Over the last 21 years, All Stars has raised over 20 million dollars on behalf of programs promoting a safe, healthy and rigorous learning environment for disadvantaged children. All Stars distributes an average $1M annually to organizations such as the Knowledge Is Power Program and Playworks. We don’t simply write checks to the organizations we support. We also host programming for our grantees and are active conduits for in-kind donations. Our current programming includes: Career Incubator, Sponsor A Class, and Winning Play$.  These programs are designed to deliver 360° of support, addressing the three areas we believe are essential to the development of a child from early childhood through 12th grade and beyond: Rigorous Academics, Health & Fitness and Life Skills. Currently most Community Based Organizations do not have the resources to support the “whole” child, so by offering these supplemental programs, we are inching closer to a day when all children receive 360° in their learning environment.

We measure our success in the short-term by how well the organizations we support execute their vision, as well as by our efforts to introduce underserved children to the world beyond their community walls. Over the long-term, we base our success on our ability to initiate fundamental changes in how we support youth in low-income communities. With better academic options and increased physical activity as our areas of focus, we intend to push those levers that remove any impediment blocking low-income children from thriving academically and physically.  In 2008, Catholic Charities named All Stars Outstanding Organization for its work in the community.
